Police Search For Alleged Hit-And-Run White Van

Local police are looking for a white van that hit two cars while allegedly speeding through a Springdale parking lot early Friday night, according to local authorities.

A white van cut through the Walmart parking lot on Thompson Street shortly after 7 p.m., hitting two cars while traveling at high speeds, according to an eyewitness at the scene. Officers have not yet located the van, but are on attention for it, according to the Springdale Police Department.

No injuries were reported in the incident, according to the Springdale Fire Department. An eyewitness estimated the speed of the van at about 60 miles per hour, however police could not confirm the alleged speed.

A Pontiac Grand-Am and a Fort Taurus were allegedly struck by the speeding van.
