The obesity rate in the United States comes in at an average of 26.2%. The recently released Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index finds there are nearly 3 million more obese adults in 2013 than in 2008. While many cities and workplaces are offering health initiatives and programs, the battle still wages on.
In the latest index, the survey shows the Top 10 “Fattest” and “Fittest” cities. Arkansas ranks number three on one of those lists.
