The Alabama Crimson Tide enter the 2013 season as the No. 1 team in the USA Today preseason coaches poll with an overwhelming 58 out of 62 first place votes.

One coach thought highly enough of the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Hogs received one “other” vote in the poll.

Five of the top 10 teams come from the Southeastern Conference. Georgia is No. 5, Texas A&M is No. 6, South Carolina No.7 and Florida No. 10. LSU is just outside the top 10 at No. 13.

The preseason poll solidifies the Razorbacks’ monster schedule for 2013. Arkansas will start the SEC schedule home against No. 6 Texas A&M, followed by games at No. 10 Florida, home against No.7 South Carolina and at No 1. Alabama all in consecutive weeks.

That’s four top 10 teams in a row for Arkansas to kick-start SEC play.

Fall camp begins Monday for the Hogs.
