This is a neat comparison of the Drought Monitor comparing July of 2012 to July of 2013. The drought conditions have been nearly erased across much of the state due to above normal rainfall. There is no longer any drought across some parts of the River Valley; however, there are still some abnormally dry conditions located in Western Washington Co and all of Madison Co. It’s really impressive to see how much of the state was in an extreme drought last year. As the saying goes… “if you don’t like the weather, just stick around; it’ll change.”
