Man Kicked in Head Behind Bar; Suspect Sought

The Fayetteville Police Department is looking for a suspect in an assault that happened behind a bar early Saturday morning on Dickson Street.

The police said officers responded to a report of an unconscious man behind the Hog Haus Brewing Company at approximately 2:27 a.m. Officials said witnesses told them the victim, Michael Leslie of Elkins, had been in a disturbance and had been kicked in the head while on the ground.

Leslie was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

The police said the suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s to early 30’s who drives a black Toyota Prius.
