One Person Burned in Nob Hill Fire

One person received minor burns in a hay field fire near Nob Hill just before noon on Tuesday (Aug. 20), officials said.

The person, who had not been identified by midday, received minor burns on his hip while helping fight the fire, said a dispatcher with the Nob Hill Fire Department.

The Springdale Fire Department sent an ambulance to the site at 21353 Perry Road, but the injured person was not expected to be transported to a hospital, the dispatcher said.

The fire, which burned parts of the three-acre, field and a tractor, had been put out by 12:30 p.m., officials said.
