Alex Collins became the first running back in SEC history to rush for more than 100 yards in each of his first three career games.

Collins ran for 115 yards and a score as Arkansas handed Southern Miss their 15th straight loss with a 24-3 win at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

For the third straight week, both Collins and fellow running back Jonathan Williams went for more than 100 yards. Williams finished with 116 yards that included a 45-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that put Arkansas up 17-3.

Arkansas lost quarterback Brandon Allen late in the first quarter as he injured his right shoulder after diving into the end zone on a five yard touchdown run. Allen was immediately taken to the training room and then returned to the sidelines in the second half in street clothes with his throwing arm in a sling.

A.J. Derby relieved Allen after the injury and completed 4-of-6 passes for 36 yards. Arkansas attempted just 11 passes in the game compared to 56 rushing attempts. Julian Horton, Kiero Small and Javontee Herndon each had two catches.
