Free Prostate Cancer Screening: September 19, 2013

On Thursday, September 19, Fort Smith Radiation Oncology will be sponsoring a FREE prostate cancer screening in celebration of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

FSRO is located at 8500 South 36th Terrace (across from Planters off Highway 71S). The free screening is for men age 50 and older who have never been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Men between the ages of 40 and 50 with a family history of prostate cancer are also eligible for the free screening.

The second leading cause of cancer deaths in males, prostate cancer is also the most common cancer in men. One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime.
