Springdale Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting 15-year-old

Brian Nunez, 20, of Springdale is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl he met on Facebook.

The arrest report said the girl’s father found out about the relationship and reported it to authorities in July.

The girl was taken to the Children’s Safety Center were a forensic interview was done. The 15-year-old admitted to having sex with Nunez on several occasions.

Officer Kevin Williams was contacted by a child advocate on October 4th. The advocate told Williams the girl’s father was at the center because his daughter had skipped school and he believed she was with Nunez.

Officer Williams located and arrested Nunez. Nunez admitted to having a sexual relationship with the teen, but said he never forced her. According to the arrest report, Nunez also said she was possibly pregnant.

The minor later called Officer Williams a told him they had plans to run away and get married.
