Van Buren police had to chase down a runaway train car Tuesday, halting traffic as it rolled along.
Police received a call that a train car was loose and moving down the tracks near 20th Street. Officers had to stop traffic at five intersections as the car made its way through.
It eventually reached the Arkansas River Bridge, which was up and helped stop the train car.
No one was hurt. Police said the car was on the Arkansas-Missouri railroad track. It is unclear how the train car got loose.
