It seemed like another year for an annual tradition in Dayton, Ohio called the Stoddard Avenue Pumpkin Glow. Hundreds of carved pumpkins light up the night and bring people out to take in the glory.
For Zach Stoddard, this was not another neighborhood event. Rather, the Associated Press reports it would be a night which would change his life.
Stoddard placed five carved pumpkins on Wednesday which read “Will You Marry Me?” strategically on the hill with the intent of surprising his girlfriend of three years, Lauren Brenneman.
When the pumpkins were unveiled and lit, she said yes in front a record breaking crowd.
