It looked like another night of feeding the homeless for The Bethel College students who volunteer with the campus program. The group arrived in downtown South Bend, IN to deliver pizza in the area.
Katie Barabas was one of them. In fact, she and her boyfriend of 11 months, Mike King, often serve in the ministry together. Reports show it’s one of her favorite things to do. She now has another special memory attached to the group. On the day after Halloween, King shaved his head, donned a disguise and proposed.
Reports show the couple plan to invite the homeless from the Feed the Hungry campus ministry to attend their reception.
