Arkansas hadn’t lost seven straight games in 23 years, until Saturday.

The Razorbacks trailed 20-17 and had the football but a forced punt and two quick scores allowed Ole Miss to pull away for a 34-24 win in Oxford, Miss.

The Rebels pushed their lead to 27-17 after a 75 yard touchdown pass from Bo Wallace to Ja-Mes Logan with 4:11 left in the third quarter. Ole Miss struck again before the end of the quarter as Wallace hit Donte Moncrief for a 52 yard card and run.

Wallace finished 26-of-33 passing for a career high 407 yards and three touchdowns. The Rebels racked up more than 530 yards of total offense.

Arkansas ran for 196 yards while Brandon Allen was 18-of-30 passing for 193 yards and two touchdowns. Allen’s first score came on a 17-yard connection with freshman Hunter Henry.

Moncrief and Logan combined for 12 catches, 259 yards and two scores as the Arkansas defense continued to struggle to get stops.

Jonathan Williams led Arkansas with 67 yards rushing while Alex Collins added 57 yards and Korliss Marshall had 42 yards on three attempts.
