A cyclist is hit by a car Sunday (Nov. 10) in Sebastian county.
The accident happened on U-S highway 71, between Greenwood and Fort Smith.
Arkansas State Police said the pedestrian was with her son at the time of the accident, but he wasn't hit or injured.
Police said the pedestrian was sent to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries.
No word if the driver will be cited.
