Bentonville kids had a chance to get everything they want on their Christmas list in the Shop With A Cop event.

The Bentonville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #70 spent Monday (Dec. 1) morning with 42 kids holiday shopping.

Fundraisers and donations funded each kid's $250 allowance for presents for the family.

Kids were partnered up with a cop and then stormed the toy aisle, clothing and shoe departments and electronic department at Walmart.

Stephanie Wootten is a trustee with the order and had a hand in planning the event.

"We love it. We do it every year. The same officers do it and we do nothing but high five each other and the kids and it's a great report we build with kids in the community," she said.

The kids ate lunch with the cops after the shopping spree.
