A local development firm is working to buy Fianna Hills Country Club in Fort Smith and has released plans to triple the club’s size, FSM Redevelopment Partners LLC told 5NEWS on Tuesday.
Preliminary designs show FSM Redevelopment Partners LLC plans to expand the Fianna Hills Country Club’s size from 27,000 square feet to 83,550 square feet, while creating a larger event facility, a modern infinity pool and various golf course improvements, including new cart paths and GPS on carts, according to the organization.
“Progress is continuing on schedule. We’ve had a very good reception to some of our preliminary plans, and will soon be in a position to hold detailed meetings with club members as plans progress,” said Lance Beaty, general manager for FSM Redevelopment Partners. “This project has a tremendous opportunity to bring lifestyle quality never before (available) in the Fort Smith market.”
