Crews Battle Flames After Propane Explosion

Crews from several River Valley fire departments responded to a propane explosion Tuesday night in Greenwood.

Police said they believe a grass fire spread to a shed behind a home on South Gunther Street and ignited a propane tank inside.  The homeowners were out of town, and no one was injured, police said.

Firefighters had the fire under control around 11 p.m.
