Slick Conditions Cause Thursday Traffic Delays

Early morning snow is causing some traffic slowdowns across the area.

Northwest Arkansas:

Weather Alert: A light dusting of snow may cause some minor slick conditions in parts of Northwest Arkansas.  No accumulation is expected, but Benton County Sheriff's deputies did report some slick areas on roads early Thursday morning.  Arkansas State Police dispatchers said they did not have any reports of slick spots on highways and interstates.

Gentry: ASP are responding 2-car accident on SH12 outside of Gentry, blocking the westbound lane. No injuries reported.

Hwy 59 & 412: Icy patches reported.

Siloam Springs: Siloam Springs PD responded to 1 car sliding of the road. Dispatch said it wasn't serious.

Hwy. 265-

  • ASP: Car slid off of hwy 265, two miles off of Strickler. Unknown injuries at this time.

Centerton-

  • ASP: Several cars off the roadway on hwy 102 in Centerton, slick spots
  • Delays are expected near Greenhouse Road on Hwy. 102B while crews widen nearly two miles of the highway.
