Dover School Bus Flips Over With 7 Kids Inside

Seven students were inside a school bus that flipped onto its side Wednesday afternoon, following a crash in Pope County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

County deputies responded around 12:45 p.m. to the Dover School District bus wreck on Linker Mountain Road. Students were evaluated at the scene by medical crews, but no one was injured, according to the Pope County Sheriff’s Office.

Five of the students were picked up by school employees, while two students rode with their parents away from the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
