More than 2,000 Homes Without Power in the River Valley

Icy conditions have caused more than 2,000 power outages for Thursday morning in the River Valley.

Below is a list of current outages across the area:

Arkansas Valley Electric: Around 2,400 homes are without power, primarily in Dyer and Van Buren.  Nearly 200 were reported without power in Franklin County around 9 a.m. Thursday, while 65 lost power in Johnson Co., and 52 in Logan County.

OG&E: Hundreds of outages in Fort Smith and Van Buren were reported overnight.  Most of the outages were fixed be 9 a.m. Thursday with just over a hundred Fort Smith outages remaining.
