Are you ready for Thin Mints and Tagalongs? Girl Scouts will start taking cookie orders on Saturday, January 11th. The $3.50 a box cookies help support local Girl Scout troops and programs for the girls. Eight flavors are available: Do-si-Dos, Dulce de Leche, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thank You Berry Munch, Thin Mints, Trefoils, and Savannah Smiles.
Girl Scout leaders say the Cookie Program dates back to the 1930’s and is the largest girl-led business in the world, generating $790 million in annual sales.
