Arkansas’ home winning streak was two seconds away from reaching 24 games but Florida had other ideas.

Scottie Wilbekin banked a jumper in with two seconds left to force overtime and then the Gators controlled the overtime possession to post an 84-82 win.

No. 10 ranked Florida scored the first five points of the extra period and never trailed as they improved to 2-0 in the SEC while Arkansas falls to 0-2.

Arkansas struggled from the field, shooting just 37 percent (27-of-72) but were able to lead for most of the second half thanks to the hot shooting of Rashad Madden.

Madden knocked down five of Arkansas’ 10 3-pointers and had a game high 23 points. Coty Clarke added 16 while Bobby Portis finished with 14. The Razorbacks had five players in double figures.

Florida, who was without their leading scorer Casey Prather, got 22 points from Dorian Finney-Smith while Wilbekin added 18 off the bench. The Gators had four players score in double figures.

After leading 36-35 at the half, Arkansas led by as many as seven with just less then five minutes left in regulation but Florida outscored the Razorbacks 9-2 over the final 4:42.

Arkansas had a chance to put the game away with 18 seconds left but Alandise Harris missed the front end of a one-and-one free throw situation, allowing the Gators a chance to tie the game.
