SHERWOOD, Ark. (KTHV-11) – Police in Sherwood said a woman is facing felony charges after being arrested in the rape of a teenage boy.

A news release from Lt. Jamie Michaels details that on Nov. 27, the Sherwood Police Department received a call from the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-482-5964) about allegations of sexual assault by Andrea Clevenger, 34, of a 14-year-old boy.

According to the release, detectives obtained a warrant charging her with one count of rape and one count of engaging children in sexually explicit conduct for use in a visual or print medium.

Clevenger, police said, surrendered to the court Tuesday, represented by her attorney, and was released on bond with GPS monitoring.

Clevenger has appeared on TLC’s show “Cheer Perfection,” a reality TV show that follows young cheerleaders who compete competitively with Cheer Time Revolution, a gym in Sherwood, Ark.
