Super Bowl XLVIII was over as soon as the Denver Broncos took their first offensive snap.

Peyton Manning saw the snap sail over his head into the end zone for a safety and it started an onslaught for the Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle never looked back after the opening safety and posted a 43-8 win at MetLife Stadium.

The Seahawks forced four turnovers and rattled Manning all game long. Manning finished 34-of-49 for 280 yards and a touchdown but had three turnovers.

Russell Wilson threw for 206 yards and two scores for the Seahawks as the franchise won its first ever championship.

Malcolm Smith’s 69-yard interception return for a score gave Seattle a 22-0 lead at the half. Percy Harvin then essentially put the game away as he returned the second half kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown.
