The heaviest moisture is now well east of the area and only a few sleet pellets, snow flurries, or areas of patchy freezing drizzle will be possible into the evening.
Unfortunately, another winter system will arrive on Thursday with more snow and another chance for widespread cancellations. It doesn’t appear freezing rain will be possible with the next system since temperatures will be cold throughout the entire atmosphere.
