Clear weather has searchers with the Arkansas Forestry Commission back at their search for missing pilot Jake Harrell, who vanished with his plane on Jan. 31.
Helicopters from the National Guard, Arkansas State Police, and US Forest Service will comb a carefully gridded system built in a special computer program by experts.
Ground divisions are also mobilized to complement search efforts by air, according to a recent news release from the Arkansas Forestry Commission.
The news release continued to say that the Incident Command Headquarters in Mena is buzzing. Every individual there is encouraged by the best day of visibility experienced to date throughout the eleven-day search period.
