Body Found By Hunters Could Be Missing Man

A body found near a Logan County river is believed to be that of a missing man, according to the Logan County Sheriff Steve Smith.

The body was found by hunters Monday night (Feb. 17) near Petit Jean River in the Sugar Grove Community. Smith said investigators believe it is Aaron Dewitt, who went missing January 10.

No foul play is suspected, according to Smith.

The body was sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office for positive identification and to determine the cause of death.
