The Bentonville middle school teacher being investigated by police has been cleared and is set to return to work this week, officials told 5NEWS.

At least one parent made unspecified allegations against the Ardis Ann Middle School teacher, prompting the Bentonville School District to suspend him with pay two weeks ago. Bentonville police this week finished their investigation into the teacher concerning a possible crimes against children case, police said.

The investigation found no evidence the teacher committed any crimes, police said. With the investigation wrapped up, the teacher will return to work at the middle school this week.
