A Russellville man accused of raping a 12-year-old was arrested in Clarksville on Friday (Feb. 21), according to Clarksville Police Chief Greg Donaldson.
He was arrested through a joint investigation of the Clarksville Police Department, the Arkansas State Police and the Russellville Police Department.
The suspect was identified as Alejandro Mendoza (age 38), and he is currently incarcerated in the Johnson County Jail with a bond of $250,000.
His next court appearance is March 7, Donaldson said.
