The deadline to enroll in a healthcare plan is quickly approaching.
The surgeon general recently announced an informational video on enrollment, and Friday, volunteers gathered on the capitol steps to educate Arkansans on benefits of a healthcare plan and to help with the enrollment process.
“I came in, and I enrolled, and it took me maybe 15 minutes. I waited, and I got to pick a plan the same day,” explained Shanice Hood, showing other how easy the process is. “This is important. Especially if you don’t have health care. I didn’t have health care, and I enrolled the day they came to my school, and it has changed my life since then.”
