Arkansas was in need of a confidence boost and maybe they got in Tuesday at Baum Stadium.
The Razorbacks had lost seven of eight games before the series finale at Florida Sunday but Arkansas took game three of the series against the Gators. Arkansas backed that up with a 4-3 win over Grambling State.
Arkansas (10-7) and Grambling (3-16) play again Wed. (Mar. 19) to close the series.
Eric Fisher started a four run third inning for Arkansas as his single to right drove in Clark Eagan. Bobby Wernes then added a two run single to build a 3-0 lead.
Grambling State made Arkansas earn the win as they plated three runs over the final two innings before Zach Jackson picked up the save in the 9th. Jackson forced Edwin Drexler to line out to first with the tying run on third to end the game.
