Brian Kuester, the District Attorney for District 27 in Oklahoma, which includes Adair, Cherokee, Sequoyah, and Wagoner counties, is announcing a dedicated tip line to help solve a suspected homicide, according to a news release Tuesday.

The victim involved in the suspected homicide is Stephan Adams, born on Aug. 4, 1978.

Adams was reported missing under suspicious circumstances to the Tahlequah Police Department on Dec. 15, 2004, according to the news release.

Anyone who believes they have information related to the Northeastern State University student’s disappearance is asked to call 918-207-6019. Tips will remain anonymous.

Adams was last seen in the Keys/Cookson area of Cherokee County on Dec. 13, 2004, according to the news release.

A grand jury investigation into the disappearance of Adams was convened in Cherokee County in 2011.
