KCPQ – A news station helicopter crashed around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday morning near the Space Needle, and smoke and fire could be seen coming from the scene.
KOMO 4 News in Seattle confirmed that a news helicopter used in joint partnership between KOMO 4 and KING 5 News crashed on Broad Street near the Space Needle.
At least two people were killed in the crash, and one victim in a car was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
