Fort Smith Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

A white female suspect came into the First National Bank on 3515 Old Greenwood Rd. in Fort Smith and demanded money via a note, according to the Fort Smith Police Department.

The suspect was described as “slender” and approximately was 5″ tall. She was reportedly wearing a green jacket, blue scarf and a dark knitted hat, authorities say.

No weapon was seen, and the suspect left the bank and was last seen heading north.

She reportedly left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Fort Smith Police Department. No one was injured in the robbery, and customers and employees that were inside the bank at the time of the event are being interviewed.

The event occurred at approximately 2:12 p.m.
