A group of homeowners in Poteau put their money together in order to save a local golf course that was in danger of being destroyed.
Wolf Ridge Golf Course was set to be destroyed for development before members of the community rallied together to save the golf course. Situated perfectly in the Ouchita mountains, you have a fantastic view from every swing at Wolf Ridge. The location is much more than a golf course - it's the perfect spot for weddings, reunions, receptions, and more.
Local District Attorney Jeff Smith proudly stated, "It's a real pleasure to be up here at Wolf Ridge country club. A lot of people have worked a lot of hours to make this course... its a beautiful course, and it's really one of the garden spots of our county."
