GraduateNWA: Helping Adults Complete Their Education

Stacey Sturner, Project Manager, fills us in on the latest news and upcoming events in Northwest Arkansas. GraduateNWA began in 2012, and they are currently partnered with six different colleges in the area. Their goal is to help adults with some college credit, but no degree, return to complete their education. Studies show that those with a college degree have a significantly higher income than those without a degree, and their children are more likely to attend college or university as well.

On April 2 from 5-7PM, GraduateNWA will be at three locations to help prospective students fill out their FAFSA and learn more about financial aid: U of A Fayetteville, John Brown University, and Northwest Technical Institute.

On April 27 from 2-4PM, GraduateNWA will be at two location to help prospective students fill out their FAFSA and learn more about financial aid: U of A Fort Smith and NWACC in Bentonville.

These workshops are completely FREE and open to the public!

Stacey informs us that one of the main barriers in going back to college in money - GraduateNWA wants to help remove that barrier.
