Heavy rains across both Northwest Arkansas and River Valley caused problems for drivers Monday morning (April 7).

In Johnson, a trooper with Arkansas State Police had to shut down the Ball Street Bridge after rainwater began pouring over the top of it around 5 a.m.

This was the only road closing across the area reported by authorities as of Monday morning.

In the River Valley, drivers saw wet roads, but authorities said they did not work any accidents. There were reports of water rising in the River Valley earlier Monday morning  as the heavy rain fell, but authorities said all roads are open.
