Franks Named Arkansas Football Director Of Recruiting

EK FranksLess than two months after finishing his second signing class, Arkansas coach Brett Bielema announced the hiring of E. K. Franks as the football program’s Director of Recruiting.

Franks replaces Chris Hauser who left the position eight days after National Signing Day in February.

“I have known E.K. Franks for more than a decade and can’t wait to see the positive effect he will bring to our Razorback family,” Bielema said. “He will lead our recruiting department on a variety of different levels to help bring Arkansas football to the highest level of success.”

Franks previously held the title of associate head coach and running backs coach at Southeastern Louisiana, a FCS level member of the Southland Conference. Franks also spent two seasons as a defensive graduate assistant at Wisconsin under Bielema.

Franks also served as strength and conditioning coach at Kansas State for two seasons following time at Heritage Hall High School in Okla. City.
