Whole Foods Store Could Be Coming To Fayetteville

Plans have been submitted to the City of Fayetteville for development of what may become a Whole Foods Market, according to city officials.

The large-scale development plans submitted by S.J. Collins Enterprises outline a grocery store planned to be built at 3535 N. College Ave. S.J. Collins is a commercial development company that has built several Whole Foods stores in southern states, according to the company’s website.

A Whole Foods Market, or any other major development in Fayetteville, would have to first be approved by city leaders, including the City Council, before development could begin.

The Whole Foods store in Little Rock is the only one in the state, according to the company’s website.
