Two Hospitalized In Oklahoma Plane Crash

Two people were hospitalized in a plane crash near Lake Tenkiller in Eastern Oklahoma on Saturday (April 12), the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened after 11 a.m. about one mile north of the Cookson airport, a small, private airport east of Oklahoma 82.

Two men on board the plane were flown to a hospital by a medical helicopter. The men were in critical condition but have been stabilized, officials said.

According to Federal Aviation Administration records, the plane is registered to Demarco Albert of Ozark, Ark. There is no confirmation if he was one of the men on board.

The FAA has been notified and will investigate the crash, officials said.
