New York Times Best Selling Children’s Book Illustrator Coming To Bentonville School

A New York Times Best Selling children’s book illustrator is coming to Willowbrook Elementary School in Bentonville, according to Mary Ley, Executive Director of Communications.

The illustrator is Ard Hoyt, and he is coming on Thursday (April 24) to make two presentations, one at 9:15 a.m. and one at 10:15 a.m.

Hoyt has illustrated over 25 published children’s books, and some of his best titles include “One-Dog Canoe,” “I’m a Manatee” and “Some Dog.”

His most recent book, “The Day Dirk Yeller Came To Town,” is nominated for the Arkansas Diamond Primary Book Award, according to Ley.
