Firefighters in Sequoyah County battled flames at a residential fire today.
A two-story house caught fire on East 1140 Road south of Muldrow on Monday (April 21).
It took approximately one hour to contain the fire, and the house was considered a “total loss.” However, there were a few items that were salvaged. A pickup truck was also burned in the fire.
There were no injuries in the fire. The owners were in Fort Smith at the time.
The fire marshal was called out to investigate, and a cause is not determined at this time.
