Undisclosed Threat Made Against Poteau High School

An undisclosed threat was made last week against the Poteau High School.

Poteau High School staff, in cooperation with authorities, took extra security measures before the start of classes Monday (April 21) morning, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Sjoberg.

There was reportedly no disruption to class.

Sjoberg stated, “We appreciate the cooperation it took to successfully conduct this procedure and assure our students, staff and parents that our high school is safe for learning.”
