A Fayetteville man was arrested on suspicion of touching two women inappropriately while riding a bus on Friday (April 18).

Noprhy Steib II, 61, of Fayetteville, was arrested after two female victims stated they were touched “sexually on the chest” while riding a University of Arkansas transit bus, according to a preliminary arrest report from the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.

The victims stated that the suspect in question refused to stop touching them when asked, and he reportedly pushed them down forcibly and continued sexual contact with their chests, according to the report.

Both victims stated that he was “likely intoxicated.”

He eventually left after the bus stopped and boarded a different bus.

Later, the suspect was arrested by the University of Arkansas Police Department after the victims confirmed his identity, and he now faces charges of Sexual Assault in the 2nd Degree.
