A new Walmart slated to open in Springdale is hiring for nearly 300 jobs, according to a news release Tuesday (April 29).
The store is set to open this summer, and a hiring center has opened at 5320 W. Sunset Ave. Suite 183.
Applications will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the release.

Store manager Sherry Curtis-Swenson confirmed that the store will be hiring both full-time and part-time employees.
Curtis-Swenson said, “I began my career as a cashier in Springdale so I truly know the opportunities available.”
