Man Dies After Truck Runs Off Highway In Franklin County

A man died in a one-vehicle wreck Thursday night after his truck ran off of the highway in Franklin County, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency crews responded around 5:30 p.m. to Arkansas Highway 215 near Ozark, where a man in his late 30s crashed his Chevrolet pickup truck. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Anthony Boen said authorities are still investigating why the man’s pickup truck ran off the side of the highway. The victim’s name has not been released, and family has not been notified, Boen said.
