Authorities investigated a “threat” at the Waldron Middle School today, according to the school superintendent.

The unspecified threat was found on a bathroom wall and stated that something bad would happen Thursday (May 15).

Authorities swept the school and found nothing, but officers will be in attendance at the school Thursday morning to make sure nothing bad happens.

Parents were notified of the situation via the automated call system.

The threat was found right at the end of the school day, the superintendent said.
