Arkansas State Police investigated a head-on collision near St. Paul on Thursday (May 15) at approximately 12 p.m., authorities say.
The collision happened at the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 23, according to authorities.
A black vehicle merged wrong onto Highway 23 and struck a red SUV. Four passengers in the black car were taken to a nearby hospital, authorities said.
One adult was in “bad condition,” and a four-year-old was life-flighted from the scene due to the extent of the child’s injuries, according to authorities.
One adult in the red SUV was in “good condition,” authorities said.
