Van Buren Man, Stepson Among Those Injured In Fatal Crash

A Van Buren man and his stepson were among the multiple people who were injured Monday in a fatal crash in Van Buren County.

A family member told 5NEWS Perry Fondren, 54, and Ethan Tew, 23, were involved in the crash and transported to area hospitals. Fondren was taken to the University of Arkansas For Medical Sciences, while Tew was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, the family member said.

A log truck was involved in a major crash at Arkansas 16 and U.S. 65, which resulted in two deaths and several injuries. Authorities did not release an exact number of people injured Monday night.
