Shiloh Christian has hired former assistant Jeff Conaway as head football coach and athletic director, the school announced Tuesday. Conaway takes over after Josh Floyd accepted a head coaching position at Trussville, Ala. in May.
Conaway served as head coach at Greene County Tech in Paragould for the last six seasons.
Prior to his service with Greene County, Conaway was the offensive coordinator at Shiloh Christian from 2004 –2008 under Floyd and helped win to state championships in 2006 and 2008.
Conaway has also coached at Arkadelphia High School and Ouachita Baptist University as a graduate assistant.
“I am honored and excited about the opportunity to return to Shiloh Christian as the head coach and athletic director," said Conaway. "Shiloh Christian is a very special place for my family and me. We are passionate about using this platform to share Christ and develop champions spiritually, academically, and athletically.”

Conaway runs a similar variation of a spread offense that Josh Floyd made successful at Shiloh Christian for a decade. Conaway led Greene County Tech to two state playoff appearances in six seasons, as many appearances as they experienced in the previous 40 seasons, including the winningest season in school history and the first playoff victory in school history.
